Last Sunday saw our annual AGM and it was great to have 30 people in attendance representing a real cross-section of the club - a fitting way to celebrate all that we achieved last season and the massive efforts of those that made it happen.

By way of summary from the meeting.

1. I confirmed that our 2nd X1 will from next season participate in the North Herts Sunday League - a competition involving 14 league matches and we think the right standard of cricket to bring on our younger talent and also give everyone league cricket on most weekends during the season.

2. Award winners were as follows:
* Senior player of the year - Jonny Lubin
* Most improved player - Jamie Hurwitz
* Junior Player of the year - Yishai Epstein-Lightman
*Champagne moment award winners - Rafi Quint and Lior Heyman for amazing winning stand v Eastcote to win the gam
* Alan Shapiro award for contribution to the club - Alex Haffner (despite the chairman's alternative suggestion to his Hon President!...)

3. New committee confirmed:
*President and Hon Treasurer - Terry Hyman
*Chairman - Alex Haffner
* Head of Juniors - Anthony Wise
* Head of Elite Squad/Safeguarding Officer - David Marks
* 1st team captain/vice - Ben Lederman/Adam Brand
* 2nd team captain/vice - Jack Davis/Jon Feigenbaum
* Publicity - Jack Davis

Reminder that no junior/elite training tomorrow night (25th) as hall unavailable and then on 2 and 9th December training is at MILL HILL SCHOOL SPORTS CENTRE.
